Prime Minister Iurie Leanca met the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe’s (PACE) co-rapporteurs of the Monitoring Committee
The officials addressed the reforms under way in Moldova, European agenda and regional situation, and social inclusion of national minorities. Leanca referred to the social and economic evolutions in Moldova in the context of expectations to implement reforms, including the Association Agreement with the European Union and setting up of the Free Trade Area.

Moldovan, Italian officials tackle social protection-related issues

Information Technology Excellence Centre to be created in Moldova
Prime Minister Iurie Leanca today participated in the signing of a memorandum of understanding on creation of the first Information Technology Excellence Centre in Moldova, concluded between the Moldovan government, U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Microsoft and International Business Machines Corporation (IBM).

Prime Minister Vlad FILAT today sent a letter to President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Suma CHAKRABARTI
In the letter, FILAT expressed his high appreciation for the EBRD activity in Moldova, mainly as regards the support for the projects on roads restoration, pointing out that this support is important for the country's economic development.
