Moldovan premier urges farmers to resume work
Prime Minister Iurie Leanca held a meeting with farmers in Balti on 7 August. The sides discussed measures to improve the situation in agriculture, after farmers had taken out their agricultural equipment on road, as a token of protest against the restrictions imposed by Russia on Moldovan fruit imports.

EU to provide technical assistance for Moldovan justice reform
Prime Minister Iurie LEANCA together with the head of the EU Delegation to Chisinau, Dirk SCUEBEL, today launched a technical assistance project meant to coordinate the reform in the justice sector in Moldova. The project will be put into practice the next three years. It is streamlined to transform the judiciary system into an efficient, independent, transparent and professional one.
