Premier inspects restoration works of Moldovan highway
Prime Minister Iurie Leanca today inspected the Sarateni-Soroca road, which is under full restoration process, within the Compact programme that is financed by the US government.

Prime Minister Vlad FILAT and German Federal Chancellor Angela MERKEL today had a meeting with representatives of German companies that invested in Moldova
Attending the meeting were Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Iurie LEANCA, Deputy prime Minister, Economics Minister Valeriu LAZAR, Agriculture and Food Minister Vasile BUMACOV, as well as representatives of such companies as Clas KGaA mbH, Sudzucker AG, Leoni AG, Marquard & Bahls AG (Tirex Petrol). The head of the German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations, Eckhard CORDES, participated in the meeting as well.

Prime Minister Vlad FILAT and German Federal Chancellor Angela MERKEL today held a face-to-face meeting, after which they chaired a plenary meeting of the two states' delegations and gave a joint news conference
At the news conference, FILAT said that they had discussed the European integration process in which Moldova is engaged. "The Republic of Moldova is a European state, which is fully involved in a comprehensive reform process aimed at adjusting the national standards to the European ones and at ensuring the EU integration of our country," the prime minister specified.
