Moldovan premier visits two fruit exporting companies in central Ialoveni district
Prime Minister Iurie Leanca today visited a cold storage in Costesti village and a complex of producing dried fruits and nuts in Nimoreni village, Ialoveni district. Such products as: grapes, dried fruits and nuts are meant for foreign sales markets.

Moldovan cabinet approves agreement on non-refundable assistance with China
China will provide Moldova with a non-refundable assistance worth 50 million Yuan RMB, which is equivalent to 8 million dollars. The money is meant for carrying out projects on economic and technical cooperation that will be established in a protocol due to be signed.The final goal of the agreement on economic and technical cooperation between the Moldovan and Chinese governments is to develop the national economy and improve the citizens’ living standards.

European penitentiary compound to be constructed in Moldova
The government today approved the starting of talks on an agreement with the Council of Europe Development Bank to get financial support for building a penitentiary compound. The penitentiary will have a capacity of almost 1,600 detainees: 1,200 will be from the Chisinau-based penitentiary No 13 and 400 from police sections.
