Moldovan government top official, US corporation representatives discuss roads restoration
Government’s Secretary-General Victor Bodiu today had a meeting with representatives of the US Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), MCC deputy vice president Jolyne Sanjak, and the corporation’s Managing Director for Europe, Asia, Pacific and Latin America, Jonathan Brooks.

Prime Minister Vlad Filat today met representatives of the local authorities and de-concerted bodies of the Balti municipality, Moldova's second largest settlement
The participants in the meeting discussed the importance to consolidate the dialogue between the central and local powers. The prime minister said the Balti local authorities will have the needed support on behalf of the government to implement diverse projects for the municipality's social and economic development.

Prime Minister Vlad Filat today chaired a cabinet meeting, held in Balti, Moldova's second largest settlement
At the meeting, the government approved a draft law which sees that the Balti municipality will be given the status of second-level administrative and territorial unit. Present, the Balti city has the status of first-level administrative and territorial unit.

Government's Secretary General Victor Bodiu held a meeting with Indian Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Sachin Pilot in Delhi today
Bodiu is heading a Moldovan delegation on a visit to India to get acquainted with the country's experience in the e-governing sector. The visit, held on 1-5 August with the World Bank's support, is paid by experts of the E-Governing Centre, Information Technology and Communications Ministry and the State Chancellery.
