Moldovan cabinet approves electronic auctions as new public procurement procedure
LThe cabinet approved a new procedure on public procurement – electronic tender - today. The electronic tender is included in the new amendments to the Law on public procurement approved by the government today. At the same time, the draft law will regulate the setting up of the Agency for Contestation Settlement – a new specialty body of the public administration, which would contribute to excluding the conflict of interests that may arise in the Public Procurement Agency’s work. The cabinet approved a new procedure on public procurement – electronic tender - today.

Moldova state university to prepare biopharmaceutical chemistry specialists
The government today approved a decision allowing the training of students in biopharmaceutical chemistry sector. This specialty has been established as a result of collaboration between Moldova State University and the Nicolae Testimitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

Moldovan prime minister’s statements at beginning of today government meeting
"Tomorrow is 27 February; we are expecting the second breaking news on visas and, in fact, it is going to be the last but one story. After that, the last decision – the one of the European Council – is to take place. When we will finally have this decision, the citizens will be able to travel without visas, only with their Moldovan passports, yet it is about just biometric passports. This is an absolutely necessary condition; it was not in vain that we decided to issue only biometric passports on 1 January 2011 and, beginning with 1 January 2012, we have been issuing this type of passports at the Moldovan embassies and consulates from abroad.

Moldovan resident doctors to train at prestigious Israeli hospital
The probation will be possible due to an initiative by Prime Minister Iurie Leanca. The subject was discussed at a today’s meeting with Eli David, sponsor of qualification courses of the Sheba Medical Centre from the Israeli city of Tel Hashomer.

Latvia, Lithuania further support Moldova’s European integration
Latvian and Lithuanian Foreign Ministers, Edgars Rinkevics and Linas Linkevicius reconfirmed their support for Moldova's European integration during a meeting with Prime Minister Iurie Leanca and Foreign and European Integration Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Natalia Gherman.

Moldovan, Romanian prime ministers participate in science, education forum
Prime Minister Iurie Leanca today participated in the Moldovan-Romanian Forum entitled "Promoting the joint participation in European programs in the fields of science and education", organised by the Academy of Sciences of Moldova. Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta also attended the event as well as another 200 people from both countries.
