Moldovans likely to travel without visas to EU in July 2014
The Moldovan citizens might be able to travel to the European Union without visas by July 2014. European Parliament rapporteur for Moldova for visa liberalisation Tanja Fajon made statements to this effect in Chisinau today.

Moldovan cabinet appoints new deputy secretary
Sergiu Palihovici was appointed Deputy Secretary General of the government at a today’s cabinet meeting. He will manage the government’s relations with the local public authorities and reforms on decentralisation and promotion of local autonomy.

Moldovan PM’s statements at cabinet meeting opening
Prime Minister Iurie Leanca thanked all services involved to help people affected by low temperatures and bad weather conditions. Leanca also asked the transport, interior and health ministers to make their outmost, be vigilant and mobilise in these difficult situation.

Moldovan premier meets EU, U.S. ambassadors
Prime Minister Iurie Leanca today had a meeting with Head of the EU Delegation in Moldova Pirkka Tapiola, the ambassadors of the EU member states and the U.S., William Moser. Attending the event were also Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Natalia Gherman and Justice Minister Oleg Efrim.

Prime Minister Iurie Leanca: Good Afternoon to everybody! Let me warmly greet Misters commissioners in Chisinau. Commissioner Fule and Commissioner Ciolos have been visiting us many times over these four years, and this visit is probably more important that the previous visits. On the one hand, I was talking to you about these four years, which have meant an unprecedented cooperation with the European Commission and European Union on the whole. European top bank interested in developing relations with Moldova
Prime Minister Iurie Leanca today had a meeting with Vice President of the European Investment Bank (EIB) Wilhelm Molterer. The discussion focused on joint investment projects under implementation and prospects for developing the bilateral cooperation.
